Books

Story sets built around characters with albinism, written for real classrooms, and readable by children who need large print and high contrast.

Designed to be readable

A book a child cannot read is a decoration.

Every title in this collection is produced with low vision in mind, because a large share of the children we are publishing for cannot comfortably read standard print.

Minimum 16, 18pt body text, generous line spacing, and no text set over busy illustration.

Black on cream or white. No pale grey text, no coloured text on coloured backgrounds.

Glossy pages throw glare, which is painful for a reader with photophobia. Matte stock only.

An audio version and a reflowable digital edition so a reader can set their own type size. Confirm which titles have audio

Nominate

Know someone whose life should be a book?

Nominate a person with albinism whose story belongs in a classroom. We will approach them, and nothing happens without their agreement.
